THE OCEAN, ITS SIREN AND ME

sea-59413_640

You reach out,

In an endless cycle of trying and failing.

Rewarding,

Losers the depths where none can hear them wailing.

You are calm,

On the surface where all looks safe.

Appealing,

But further in your current waits.

You pull me,

A tragic beauty none can battle,

Percieving,

That I, to slaughter, am your lamb, your cattle.
